The Challenge
This boarding school had a catastrophic generator failure on a 350 kW system. This failure required a replacement that was sized for today’s requirements.
The Solution
After reviewing the project based on their current and future needs, Tower Generator recommended upsizing the replacement. The automatic transfer switch was operating perfectly so it was used with the new generator. The new 450 kW will handle today’s requirements and have some added capacity for the future. The project is complete and the school can rest assured that this portion of their facility is prepared to operate as usual during future power outages.
