The Challenge
Tower Generator was tasked with this project that required the removal of the old generator located in the basement of the building. The goal was to upgrade to a more reliable backup power system that will enable the firehouse to provide emergency services for their community during future power outages.
The Solution
Tower Generator completed installed a new generator at the firehouse. The new 30 kW generator is located outside and is fueled by natural gas. Tower Generator installed bollards to protect the generator as the sidewalk was the only thing between the parking lot and the generator. A new automatic transfer switch was also installed. With this all-new power system Company Two is ready for the next outage.
