This firehouse had a generator in the basement that was no longer functional. We installed a new 30kw diesel generator with a 72-hour tank outside the building. We also installed a new transfer switch as well as fencing and bollards in order to protect the generator from parking lot traffic. Company 7 is now online and ready to respond to emergencies even during power outages.
