Adams Supermarket
The objective was to protect the perishables and to provide power for full operation during a power outage. Continuous operation is critical in order to provide their customers with grocery products throughout any outage. The entire project from start to finish took less than 8 weeks. A key challenge was performing an electrical shutdown while still maintaining power to operate the store and a restaurant next door. Two mobile generators were brought and wired so that both businesses continued with business as usual. A 1600 amp ASCO transfer switch was installed in the store to ensure the reliability of the system.
